During the gymnastics training, apparatuses for the all around (uneven bars, beam, rings, pommel horse etc) as well as for the jumping (airtrack, vault) are build up. There are also regularly special training situations build up or the use of a salto belt is possible.
On Mondays, we have two different kinds of training: the recreational training and the competition training. The competition training is meant for members who are joining practice 2-3 times a week and are working hard on their skills. At the recreational training, it isn’t necessary to show up a certain amount of times in order to join. On Wednesdays, there is a mixed training. The recreational- and mixed training are guided by Tjerk Susan, who is assisted by a student trainer. The competition training is guided by Job van Regteren. The trainings start with warming-up together. Afterwards, there is time to train on different apparatuses. You can decide yourself at which apparatus you want to train. The trainers are present at one or more apparatuses during a training and can help you learn new elements and skills.
The competition training is on Monday from 19:30 until 21:15, followed by the recreational training from 21:15 until 23:00. The mixed training is held on Wednesday from 17:45 until 20:15. On Fridays you can train from 16:30 until 18:30 on your own responsibility, that means without a trainer. The Friday training is only open for members who signed a liability form!
The jumping training is fully focused on group jumping, trampoline jumping and individual jumping. There is a large variety of different apparatuses from double mini to airtumbling. After 3 or 4 apparatuses got built up a warming up under the supervision of Job van Regteren takes place.
After the warming up the training begins with group jumping at one apparatus. As soon as the warming up is done, everyone can choose which apparatuses they want to train individually, from minitrampoline to Vault.
The jumping training is on Wednesdays from 20:00 til 21:30.
